ADE and Land Class Question

Featured Replies

I am trying to modify my Pease AFB scenery using ADE.

I add a Land Class polygon near the end of the runway for a Golf Course, but it never shows up in FSX

I want to add more polygons, but I need to get past the first one

Thanks

Steve

Despite the tool, you cannot place a poly where a poly already sits and have it show. You're trying to place the golf course onto the existing airport background? If so, you would need to remove the existing airport background and redo it in such a manner to allow "open spaces" for where you would want to have other polys.

You know what? I have your Pease AFB on my HD! Like most everything else, it's not installed...

Default has a golf course down at the bottom, though it's sitting below the runway, rather than off to the west side and then running parallel. Close to accurate, but a lot of times close doesn't count.

Changes to terrain result to a CVX BGL file, besides the normal BGL file for the airport. Are you sure both files got copied into FSX?

I found the problem. My Ultimate Terrain X was over riding the polygons. On a hunch I disabled it and they showed up.

I guess I will modify the scenery for everyone but me.

Thank you for your input

I found hiw to make it work with and without Ultimate Terrain X running.

I moved the KPSM_ADE_SCH_CVX.bgl from the \Addon Scenery\scenery folder to the \Addon Scenery\Pease AFB folder and all is good.
