November 21, 20241 yr MSFS 2024 is putting its own registration/tail numbers on my custom-created liveries. This first image from MSFS 2020 is what I want. N012SB in the font and size that is included in the livery itself. The tail number is configured in the aircraft.cfg file for the livery, and as can be seen here worked perfectly in MSFS 2020. There was a tail number field in MSFS 2020 in the aircraft's customization area from the World Screen. If left blank the liveries own tail number would display. But this is what MSFS2024 is throwing at me. There is a Configure setting for Identification in the MSFS 2024 World screen for the aircraft model. Every time I attempt to delete the tail number that is there it just comes back again. How can I persuade 2024 to honor my own aircraft.cfg tail number in the font and font size that is in the livery itself? Anyone know a solution? November 29, 20241 yr Did you ever figure out if there was away around this? It is quite frustrating to have a different tail number every time you start a flight -- who thought that made any sense?
