November 23, 20241 yr Hello aviation fans 🙂 The new walkaround feature to look at these gorgeous new airplanes is absolute FANTASTIC. I love it, brings so much immersion to the new sim. But I have extreme problems with the controls when doing walk-arounds, for example when walking forward and letting go of the W key half of the time my character simply keeps walking forward (sometimes even for ten seconds or more) no matter how often I press S for walking backward. Every key input while doing the walk-arounds is taken to the sim with extreme lag. When walking sideways sometimes the camera keeps moving sideways for 15 seconds... I can´t do walkarounds with these control problems. How are they fixed? I absolutely LOVE these walk-arounds, look at the details of the new 737-MAX gear well 🥰 Best engine nacelles gear wells best walkarounds ever in this new sim!
November 23, 20241 yr I had the issue of character always moving forward in walk around mode no matter what direction key was pressed. Shift-C to enter cockpit also didn’t work. What solved it for me was going back into Customize Identity and selecting a different avatar.  edit: corrected key press from ctrl-C to shift-C. Edited November 23, 20241 yr by boez Error
November 23, 20241 yr I have the same problem, but generally only when things are laggy in general. If I start walking and the framerate is stuttery, I know it's gonna be hard to stop. I think the sim is looking for a key-up event rather than looking for the absence of a key-down event. If you release the key at the moment when the sim is lagged, it doesn't catch that event and so it assumes you're still hitting W.
