Porting Fenix Liveries

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried to port their Fenix liveries over to 2024? I copied all of mine over, but only a couple showed up. They are all official liveries too.

Most are maybe hiding behind the buggy / unfinished / whatever they did filters or messy UI in the aircraft selection screen.

I have found a "missing" livery for a CFM A319 inside the A319 IAE, then going into "liveries" and a lot of CFM/IAE appeared inside. One of them was actually here and on the main screen (ie, duplicated).

They changed the livery structure for 2024 which I think is playing havoc with 2020 liveries. For example, in 2020 each livery had an aircraft.cfg file. In 2024, it's a livery.cfg, and the underlying folder structure is different.

I think the aircraft.cfg file is the root of why liveries show in different places. I haven't tried messing with getting a 2020 livery to use the livery.cfg file to see if it makes a difference.

But yeah, some liveries show under the livery options. Others show as separate variants. Some times you get a bunch of liveries under the same variant.

I'm starting to just load the livery I want to fly and call it a day on that part.
