Graphic issues at NZAA with MSFS2024?

Featured Replies

Hello Gang.

Today while doing some testing over at NZAA I could not help notice that even though everything was fluid graphics-wise, every time I looked towards the terminal in either cockpit or external view, my frames would drip to 1 or 2.  Also while approaching the airport things would get so dicey that it became hard to control the aircraft.  Anyone else noticed this anomaly or is it an issue on my end???

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

I just flew around and landed at NZAA with no issues, live weather with heavy overcast, live traffic. Most of my settings are on Ultra. I'm flying the X Cub, not a tube, and have my FPS locked at 30. The frames never deviated no matter where I looked, and had no trouble on approach. Did you by any chance purchase NZAA or any other NZ scenery through the MSFS 2020 Marketplace? My understanding is that 2024 streams everything from the Marketplace, so there may be a conflict.

Hi gang.  This was with default NZAA and the vanilla A321 that comes with MSFS2024.  Everything butter smooth until I looked in the direction of the NZAA terminal.  Will test again today to determine if streaming may have been an issue, although........I have a 2.5gb down/up service so I don't think internet should be my issue.

Sincerely,

I just re-tested and the issue is no longer happening.  I suspect cloud streaming issues on the Asobo side.  This whole cloud thing I don't think is 100% cooked yet.
