  1. I disabled every 2020 world update from my library, including the handcrafted airports. I compared the before and after at those airports, and saw no difference. Don't quote me, but I think 2024 by itself contains all the scenery needed. My reasoning is that not everyone had 2020, so those updates wouldn't have been claimed in their library. Anybody ever see the Cliffs of Dover hovering in mid-air? Disabling the 2020 UK updates fixed that for me.
  2. I'm curious about this too. I only fly in the UK proper, so wondering if my 1TB drive would hold everything.
  3. After Update 3, I would get stuck at 6% loading language. Disabling the locked frame rate limit I had set in Nvidia Control Panel fixed it for me, went from seven minutes to get to the main screen down to two minutes.
  4. Do you by any chance have your frame rate locked in Nvidia's Control Panel? After the third update, it was taking up to seven minutes to load for me, but once I disabled the locked frames, my loading time dropped down to two minutes. Also, make sure your system time is synched with internet time. My Community folder only contains the A2A Comanche.
  5. It is odd. My community folder was empty at the time when it first happened, and I now only have the A2A Comanche there. It was logged as a bug on the MSFS Forums, with lots of people experiencing the same or worse, but nothing was done about it. I'll just have to disable the Nvidia frames lock and use the sim's Vsync, though that costs me 10% fps.
  6. I didn't really notice anything different while flying, wasn't having issues before the update. They did not, however, fix the hanging on loading language at 6% when starting the game, still 7.5 minutes to get to the main menu. I ended up disabling Nvidia's locked frames to get it to play nice and load in under 2 minutes, but I shouldn't have to. They created the issue with the previous update. Sad face...
  7. Why can developers never get cowl flaps correct? There is no gap between the flaps, as seen here.
  8. I caved and removed the locked frames in Nvidia Control Panel. It worked. Loading time went from 7.5 minutes to 2.0 minutes, no more getting stuck on loading the language. To keep my frames locked at 30, I had to reduce my monitor's refresh rate to 60hz and used the in-game Vsync set at 50%. Not as efficient as using Nvidia, but it works.
  9. I have one question. If I disable all of the default aircraft cluttering up my selection screen, will they still appear as AI traffic? And if so, will they take longer to load in during a flight?
  10. I was so pleased with 2024's performance until the last update, loaded quickly and no stutters. I went from consistent 2.5-minute loading times to 5 minutes and the last two days 7.5 minutes (hangs on loading the language). I'm getting a lot of stuttering whether near an airport or not, even miles away from any city. Vram stays around 50% usage and Ram around 60%, GPU usage at 85%, CPU at 20%, frame rates locked and steady at 30, empty community folder. Why does every fix that helps some people's issues always end up creating problems for people who had no problems? 😒
  11. Not sure. I haven't had any trouble with disabling all of the old MSFS 2020 updates in the library, but danged if I know why my empty community folder is showing as disabled. Does that just mean streaming is disabled by default for the community folder?
  12. It's either the Great Deku Tree or the Erdtree.
  13. Follow that path to the Limiless folder and all the folders inside should have shortcut arrows on them. If so, then the actual installation is on your E: drive. You can also set the Community folder path while in MSFS 2024.
  14. I think both of mine are already reported, hardly anyone voted. I think it might be a waste of time reporting the little things this early with all of the bigger stuff gone wrong.
