New help understanding addons and marketplace

I use addonlinker and it always works perfectly.   The 2024 comparability list shows the OV-10 as being 2024 compatible but...

when I open the Library in the sim I see the OV-10 in a greyed out box with the message: Restart Sim and Disabled below that.  Restarting does not change the Disabled and nothing I have tried changes the disabled.

All the other entries in the community folder work OK.

What does Disabled mean in this context?

Can you enable and then restart?

Not sure. I haven't had any trouble with disabling all of the old MSFS 2020 updates in the library, but danged if I know why my empty community folder is showing as disabled. Does that just mean streaming is disabled by default for the community folder?

I just discovered that one of my Marketplace aircraft - the FSReborn Sting S4 - was disabled. I used it a week ago or something. Had to enable it (from "My Library") then restart the sim.

Didn't they say something in the latest dev Q&A (or somewhere else) that they deliberately disabled all 2020 content?

Yes they disabled everything after this patch and you have to enable stuff manually. Otherwise there were situations where older content was overriding the newer stuff and users had no idea … it’s not exactly obvious.
