Hi all, 

Just a heads up that the FSS team has released an experimental 2024 version of the 727 that can be downloaded on their Discord. For sure, it's not without issues - GPU doesn't work, there are some cockpit lighting bugs, and you can't start an "on GPU" or "on APU" states, it loads into the sim menu with engine sound running, but I did complete a full flight with it from C&D yesterday. It's probably best to not use the Automated Flight Engineer right now. I started the APU pre-flight OK, but had him do After Landing procedures and those never completed properly, the APU didn't run and I wasn't able to start it. 

So, if you'd like to help them, it's available there and they are collecting feedback. There is NO support for it right now, so use at your own risk. 

I was thinking about buying this airplane.  How is now with all the updates?  Lots of bugs, CTD?

I enjoy it greatly. No CTD. Bugs? There are a couple... but nothing major... the HSI arrows sometimes look funny when following GPS. It takes a while for it to change, but nothing drastic. I don't know what the HSI arrows looked like on the original 727, perhaps they were just as goofy. But it's a pleasure to fly! And it looks great. I enjoyed flying it in 2020, and I missed it. I don't have 2020 anymore, but figured I'd give it a go in 2024. I don't fly 2024 much anyway - it's too annoying with bugs and not a lot of good aircraft is compatible with it yet. Just the iniBuilds A300 and Fenix A320 for me. But now there is the 727, so we are getting somewhere, slowly but surely. This whole Asobo/MS "vast majority of addons will just work" was a blatant lie, and they know it.
