December 30, 20241 yr I did this. Works good but getting double aircraft in some parking spots in 2024. Double checked all settings so must be a bug.

Under the graphics settings near the bottom where the settings for cars and ships etc are at turn off the airport one. If it's on the sim will park random static aircraft at the gates even if live/AI traffic is off in the other submenu.
