January 1, 20251 yr My only issue here concerning the Pimax Crystal Light is, how do you turn it off?😶 There's no option in Pimax Play and holding the top button does nothing.😐 Edited January 1, 20251 yr by Dillon FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

No. but I took another look at it and the button is indeed redundant since once Pimax play is closed it turns itself off after a few seconds so no need to turn it off manually with the button at all. I know if I take it off and leave it undisturbed in goes to sleep and turns the screen off. January 1, 20251 yr I kind of hate today's electronic gadgets have no real mechanic power switches. Quest 3 controllers have no power switch, and I found their batteries are all dead after few months of sitting on the desk with no use at all. My Bose A20 headset (bought used from eBay) also has no real power switch, only a button to press. After a few times I ran out of battery prematurely in the air, I now take one battery out every time I finish the flight. Pain, but it guarantees no more drained batteries if the headset got accidently turned on in the bag. Absurd. I feel like you observed it auto shuts itself off when not in use and the PC is off. Also sleep mode is working as well when the PC is on.🙂 Wish Pimax would explain this better. Let me write this better.🤪 Confirmed Pimax Crystal Light: 1. Headset goes into sleep mode when not in use while the PC is on (headset green light stays on, lenses go dark). 2. When the PC shuts down the headset does the same automatically (green light goes dark). Moral of the story, we don't need to manually shut down the headset when or before we turn off the PC (great feature Pimax💯). For those that leave their computers running all the time as long as the headset is plugged into it, the headset will be running as well. I'm sure everyone here knows it's always good to shut down our computers when not in use which is more so important for those with a CL attached to it. This should be easily found in the manual somewhere but it's not or I missed it.🤔 Edited January 2, 20251 yr by Dillon FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
