What's the deal with your download speed, I'm on a gigabyte connection and when i update my products it takes over an hour. SOP1 currently downloading at 0.52 mb per second. Is there a different option then using the update manager?

We can have 100s of people downloading updates at the exact same time.  These are very large files.

Our server is designed to handle these loads without crashing the server.  It distributes the available bandwidth among connected users.

So it's not the Product Manager.
