Are you on the latest ASFS beta?  I have not had any wind shifts since I moved to the latest beta but like you prior to that it was happening a few times on each transatlantic hop and yes, there were a few times I actually had to nose down and recover from a stall and one or two times I ended up on an Island with Wilson because I couldn't recover LOL...

I think I am on the latest beta..I downloaded it a few days ago.  For me I have not noticed a difference between versions of Active Sky but perhaps it is better?  Need more trial to know for sure.  It can be pretty random.  You can go a week without issue but all of a sudden it becomes a constant problem.

If I am flying the PMDG 737 I can usually recover without issue.  However the Fenix A320 is really difficult.  It's like the Fly By Wire system gets confuse and fights your attempts at recovery.

Previous versions of Active Sky had some sort of wind smoothing feature.  Honestly I have never looked to see if it does but will next time I use it.  If not there not sure it can be added?  It needs it!
