January 27, 20251 yr I am looking at buying a laptop with a 2560 x 1600 screen .My question is would a 2560 x 1600 screen distort the cockpit or scenery image compared to a 2560 x 1440 screen ?
January 27, 20251 yr The sims have been adapting to different screen sizes since FSX, so your 16:10 will fit fine. 16:10 is very close to 16:9 anyhow which is standard for modern displays. It's the same if you hooked up a second monitor to your laptop. Mike Beckwith
January 27, 20251 yr Nothing will distort on a 2560 x 1600. You will just see slightly more of the lower dash in the view. But will look natural in windowed and in full screen mode. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
