January 29, 20251 yr Hi there- I have alot of the World of AI flight plans installed and I have the slider in my settings all the way to the max and when I go to most airports I notice I have a "ghost" airport where there isn't any planes even at the busiest ones. Not sure why this is, and if there are some planes, I see maybe 2 or 3 but thats it even at the hub airports. Can someone tell me why this and maybe tell me how to possibly edit the AFCAD files for the Traffic files? Thank you.
January 29, 20251 yr First thing to check is that the flight plans for your installed aircraft actually include the airports you're checking. Also, whilst you're checking, time of day may have a bearing on the matter. All the parking spots you can fit in won't help if there's no aircraft directed to operate there at the time you're looking 😉
January 30, 20251 yr Author I'm using the WOAI flight plans which puts alot of Traffic. How would I edit those or they not edible? I was directed to a fligh planner that seems pretty easy. Theres a list of aircraft on the right side that's red. Does that mean I have to go look for those aircraft to fit those flights? It looks easy. If I have a traffic file, would you suggest removing the traffic file from the scenery/world/scenery where the WoA traffic files are located in?
January 30, 20251 yr https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=29651.0 AIC should be a big help understanding the data of WOAI. for now, cheers john martin

Flight plans are easily editable, but without details of which flight plan(s) you're dealing with and which software you're using to edit them it all becomes pure guesswork. When you installed the flight plans, if they didn't supply the aircraft needed to service those flight plans, there will have likely been a list of which aircraft/paints would be needed and you would have been expected to download and install all those as well. "If I have a traffic file, would you suggest removing the traffic file from the scenery/world/scenery where the WoA traffic files are located in?" Don't understand the question ... again, you're mentioning "a traffic file" without specifying which traffic file, so the answer is "maybe" ... try it and see. You might be better served by purchasing one of the commercial packages which will provide a complete solution, which can then be customised to suit any specific personal requirements. Software add-ons for FSX are available very cheaply these days on eBay and similar. Edited January 30, 20251 yr by chris_eve
February 1, 20251 yr Author Ok, what I mean is the program is a flight planner similr to traffictools but made more for FSX, when you load a flight plan the aircraft on the right side is RED. Im suuposing that I would need to fins those aircraft to fill that specific aircraft for that flight plan.

As long as the woai planes are spawning in.

Sorry for the delay 😞 From that description it sounds like AI Flightplanner 3 ... again without specifics it's all guesswork ... and if so, then yes, all the aircraft listed in red are required by the flightplans and are not installed on your system, so the flightplans won't work very well! I repeat :- "You might be better served by purchasing one of the commercial packages which will provide a complete solution, which can then be customised to suit any specific personal requirements.
