If you want to check out my work, I literally just published about 30 seconds ago. Been working on it for more than a year, it be an honor to share it with yal.

Here is a reference shot of what I was recreating. So Feel free to try it out, and if you pick an airport I'll definitely consider doing it. Currently doing a refresh for Austin Tx, and after that Dallas Texas.

Wow! Well, if a town counts, then maybe Athlone, Ireland? It exists for MSFS 2020 but not FSX. And if possible, include Custume Barracks? It's a BIT of a heliport. It has a helipad and base in it because the Irish Emergency Aeromedical Service operated by the IAC operates there. It's not an airport, but I think a town would be possible. I would like to roleplay AC112 out of there and other IAC helicopters.

NOTE: It is not all I want (including hospitals around the country where ambulance helicopters fly out of including Galway, Sligo, Mayo and Dublin, and other barracks such as Renmore, and also Finner Camp airstrip) but I will not bombard you with requests from the start, I will just request one for the moment)

OK, your new post is the only one showing!

WizzKidd, I'd be happy to make a couple heliports for you. I have created several add-on airports and heliports for FSX. Currently they are only available on FlightSim.com, but I plan on als

Okay send me a picture of a satellite map, circle the area you want, within reason. Draw an arrow(s) from one airport to another or just general directions you plan to approach your or fly from you "home base" or "home airport", and i'll look for iconic scenery along the path. I tend to ramp up the VFR  landmarks/buildings to help you align your approaches.

You see, the barracks is IN Athlone, I am operating FROM Athlone. I will send you the Google Maps link to where Athlone is, and if possible, could you also do the River Shannon and Lough Ree? With default FSX scenery, the river in Athlone is only mapped from within the town and the rest is dry which is incorrect. land. https://earth.google.com/web/@53.42050714,-7.93641295,39.64813297a,8962.41424766d,35y,-0h,0t,0r/data=CgRCAggBOgMKATBCAggASg0I____________ARAA

How's the project going?

Just uploaded the one I was working on, and now I plan on doing this one.

Okay, so I noticed Athlone is not listed, but Birr is, so I will do about 20 miles worth south to Athlone. I'll do just a little around the edges, but I need a starting point for Athlone, and Birr is the closest available.

As long as the lake is there, I'll head north!

Super lucky that the major highway and railroad is here, this is enormously helpful.

For these I assume you mean the hospital helipads?

Let me know, once I finish this, I will consider doing those pads and maybe add a building here and there.

Galway, Sligo, Mayo and Dublin hospitals yes (Dublin can mean Beaumont, or Tallaght or both)

and Renmore is to the right of Galway harbour enterprise park in Galway city itself on maps.

Is this what youre looking for in renmore? not sure I understand where? The Galaway Army Barracks?

So far I have been able to find, Galaway Army base, Galaway Hospital helipad, Tallaught helipad, Sligo, Mayo, and finner camp.

Just let me know if Galaway Army base is what you mean when you say Renmore? Also, I cant find a helipad for Beaumont, Ive looked several times.

----

turns out beaumont lands at the sports field across the street or at tallught.

they used to land at dublin airport. Per reddit post on this exact topic.

I keep forgetting that Beaumont helicopters land at the sports field. It's Galway without an a before the w by the way. Yes, it is called the Galway army barracks, but on maps it is listed as Renmore Barracks.

If you need it, there is some very nice freeware scenery for Birr airfield, from George Keogh, available here in the Avsim Library if you search for:
