February 3, 20251 yr With the plugin enabled, at EGCC, Xplane 12 will crash at preparing world, every time. With plugin disabled, it loads fine. Can't figure out how to attach log files but here's the links: P2A Log file - https://pastebin.com/raw/8XHQzxF9 XP12 Log - https://pastebin.com/raw/YB60QueF XP12 ATC Log - https://pastebin.com/raw/SBGxiuXb
February 6, 20251 yr Commercial Member Neither log shows any errors, however your description of the issue would seem to indicate you are running out of resources. Check your Memory and CPU utilization in Windows Task Manager as you try and load XPlane. If it goes above 75%, then you are likely running out of the resource during peak processing periods, like loading scenery. In general, 32 GB of memory is the minimum amount of memory for XP12 and with that, you need to turn all your Graphics settings down to Medium to avoid crashes. Dave
February 26, 20251 yr Commercial Member The next release will eliminate the XP_Link and XPUIPC plugin for X-Plane users, so this issue should be resolved at that point. In the meantime, here is a link to an updated XP_Link plugin that might perform better and avoid the issue for now: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/d6k4qn2pu526o67myznxy/P2A_XPLink-3.zip?rlkey=bmzbw70718ssqz8eg46tneue6&st=ddxvnq3p&dl=0 Download and unzip. Then copy the resulting plugin folder to replace the one you have in your plugins folder now. Dave
February 27, 20251 yr Great news Dave that you are freeing us from XPUIPC... fantastic ! ! Will we still be able to run P2ATC on a networked computer? Bruce
February 27, 20251 yr Commercial Member Yes. You should be able to enter the IP Address of the SIM and run P2A on a networked PC. May be some kinks to work out at first. Dave
