Debating on my 1st sim plane purchase. Which one would you go with?

They are both exceptionally good.  Up to you what you prefer to fly first (because you really should get both in time... )

Ryzen 7 9800x3D @5.2GHz; ASUS X670-P Motherboard; nVidia 4080 (factory o/c); 32G 5600MHz DDR5 SDRAM; Pimax Crystal Light VR Headset; Quest 3 VR Headset

+1

I just updated both (for 2024). The Hawk is maybe easier to start (if you enjoy cold & dark startups), handles well and is fun to fly. The Vulcan is harder, but what a splendid sight it is!!

Both aircraft are superbly modelled inside and out and sounds are good too. Can't comment on flight model as I haven't flown either in RL (LOL).

In fact both are super planes, but make life easier for yourself and start with a trainer aircraft, so the Hawk.

Yup, both very different aircraft but also both are superb. For your first, I would agree with the Hawk. It is an easier aircraft to fly and will probably offer more 'fun'. The Vulcan is a way more complex beast but probably more rewarding from a simulation perspective.

Based on the advice of the members, I went with the Hawk. Just starting to get to play with it but, so far, I'm impressed.
