(beyondATC) If its anything like SI, its linked to your Simbrief account and you need to generate the flight in SimBrief which makes it your current flight. That is what the SI looks for. (beyondATC) You can open the EFB before getting in the cockpit, while you are in the world map. Then press "More apps" in the EFB to get to the SImbrief Dispatch and you can create the flight plan there if you want (or in Simbrief). Then in the EFB flight planner route menu you can "send route to avionics" and "file plan with ATC". I usually do it when I am in the cockpit though.
