I have a genuine WWII one on my desk - and still struggle to work out how to use it in the sim!  😄

The Library lists assets available in the sim as either Streamed/Installed (Official/community) or Disabled. With no choices below, at the very bottom. Until you click on them
But once you select the asset (click on it) then Disable and Enable choice appears down below at the bottom for you to put it in or out of the sim.

I can't find anything referred to as a Library in MSFS2024.  Mind you, I'm not on Beta - is this a Beta facility?

That said, it's not the end of the world and I'm sure either Aeroplane Heaven or MSFS will sort an easier way of porting these kinds of things across at some stage.

msfs2024 the Library is in the Marketplace. So go to Marketplace and look at the top, it will say My Library. And then type Nimrod in the search box of the My Library.

Oh, goodness.  Because there is no active marketplace yet, I never even thought to look there.  You're a superstar, @Fielder. Thanks! ☺️

So the good news is that the Hawker Fury shows in My Library, but under 'Restart Sim - Disabled'  Restarting the sim makes no change and there is no obvious option to enable it.  I've tried it various ways but always the same result.

No matter, though - I'm happy enough flying these when I'm in MSFS2020 and, presumably, when the Marketplace finally kicks in for MSFS2024, there will be a way of adding it without having to buy it again...

I have been flying the wonderful Fury in 2024 every day! No problem for me to activate. I just copied the Nimrod folder from 2020 community into the 2024 community and then Enable it in the 2024 Library.

At that point I can (in 2024 My Library) Disable it out of 2024, or instantly Enable it right back into 2024. In or Out with one mouse click.

Yes, that was how I had understood from your earlier post.  For me, there is no enable option for that one, although I have enabled some of my other 2020 models in the 2024 Library.

I've tried the copy paste a few times but always the same result.  Clearly there is something it's not happy with...maybe the modded seat position.  But it's no great issue in the great scheme of things.  Thanks for the detailed run-through.  Always appreciated.

It doesn't matter what it says by the upper picture arrow, just click on it anyway. It says Installed on mine. But it might say lots of different things.

And then after clicking, something that wasn't visible will become visible down below, either Enable or Disable.

Yes - but for me, it only offers me to disable it, even though it's greyed out...it's in a half-way house.  What I may try is reloading it in MSFS2020 and copying that.  If it works, I can repeat the seat position tweak to both versions.  It'll be a day or two before I can get back to it but I'll report back with the yay or nay result 🙂

It's of no great importance - I've got many flights and tryouts in my list I haven't found time for - but still no joy getting MSFS2024 to enable the Nimrod/Fury.

As above, I:

- deleted my modded copy (yes, took a backup)

- reinstalled the pack in MSFS2020

- checked it worked in MSFS2020

- copied the folder from MSFS2020 and pasted it into the Community folder of MSFS2024

- opened MSFS2024 and navigated to My Library

- found the AH-NIMROD HAWKER at the bottom of the list

- clicked on the select box, clicked on others and came back, but still no option other than to 'Disable', even though it says it already is disabled.  I successfully enabled some others on the list to make sure that the basic facility was working and they gave me an 'Enable' box and enabled fine...but not the Nimrod.  Clicking on 'Disable' gives no other options than to Disable.

- I also rebooted MSFS2024 but exactly the same result.

This is how my screen looks for that one line.  None of the others on the list have that same combination of flags:

As I say, curious rather than problematic, but curious all the same.
