February 20, 20251 yr Moderator Looking back over nearly 20 years of digital photos I came across this from the meeting in Washington in September 2006. I was on the Radar Contact beta team and John Dekker and Doug Thompson very generously paid for my flight over and the hotel accommodation. Here's a photo from the convention. Just reminiscing. February 20, 20251 yr 2006 was when I got my first computer and cut my teeth on fsx. Seems like the hobby was not so full blown commercial as it is now. Vic green

Seems like the hobby was not so full blown commercial as it is now. It’s hard to recall that far back. I’d been using RC for a few years already and was invited into the beta group a couple of years earlier. @Pete Dowson was involved of course and the trig expert of whom his name escapes me.
