February 21, 20251 yr Just joined because another Sim forum I'm a member of is lacking communication, and I enjoy helping people if I know how. I'm an inventor I know lots about computers and above average with networking. Currently rolling OPNSense for the router/firewall and running CalyxOS for my Android phone. I'm a privacy and right to repair advocate (Check out Louis Rossman on YouTube LOL). Interested in aviation and the technology that surrounds it. I pretty much learned how to fly a 737NG thanks to the computer, Internet and the PMDG 737NG with all its bells and whistles. Love to put my skills to the test one day in a real life full fledged Sim in Vegas. I'm interested in radio communications and have several scanners working 24/7. No, I am not an amateur radio operator. I love my many hand tools..

Given your background in computer networking and your advocacy for privacy and the right to repair, how do you think the increasing complexity of modern aviation technology, such as the systems found in the PMDG 737NG, impacts the ability of independent inventors and enthusiasts to engage with and repair these systems?
