ActiveSky 2016 Aircraft falling out of sky during cruise?
Which aircraft? Al or just one in particular? And I'd love to see if AS16 is in fact the issue as like many here mention I have not had issues with AS16 either. NOt saying it can't be an issue, but it's unlikely to do so. I think it's gauge or something else with the aircraft. What you say is that when the cockpit losses focus the airspeed drops. There's a reason for that.

Hello from Colorado...
Just joined because another Sim forum I'm a member of is lacking communication, and I enjoy helping people if I know how. I'm an inventor I know lots about computers and above average with networking. Currently rolling OPNSense for the router/firewall and running CalyxOS for my Android phone. I'm a privacy and right to repair advocate (Check out Louis Rossman on YouTube LOL). Interested in aviation and the technology that surrounds it. I pretty much learned how to fly a 737NG thanks to the computer, Internet and the PMDG 737NG with all its bells and whistles. Love to put my skills to the test one day in a real life full fledged Sim in Vegas. I'm interested in radio communications and have several scanners working 24/7. No, I am not an amateur radio operator. I love my many hand tools..

Flight Plans
On page 6 of the AIFP manual which is included in the download. It's been a while, but I believe this is when the BGL file can be read of the aircraft, but the aircraft its self (it's folder) is missing from your aircraft folder. Your "hanger" so to speak.

I highly, highly recommend Little NavMap. Here's the most pertinent for which you require:
Flight plans and flight plan fragments can be loaded, saved and merged all using the common Flight Simulator PLN files as well as X-Plane FMS format version 3 and 11, FSC and FLP files.
https://albar965.github.io/littlenavmap.html I have two monitors so Little NavMap is always on the second monitor. Works great and adds situational awareness.
