Thought I'd create a thread for people to post any shots they feel appropriate to the other thread ( https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/664889-fs-2024-amazing-graphics-again/ ) Not just for my sort of ground level stuff, anything anybody thinks illustrates 2024's visual excellence will work. Cockpit shots, cloudscapes at FL300 or whatever anyone thinks is impressive.

I'll kick off with two shots for one scenario. A really foul day today, flying to Glastonbury with live weather, wanted to check out the Tor. Took the dronecam down and was amazed by what I found in the actual building. Just a minor tech note, all my shots are 4k and ultra plus (LODs at 400), but I run HDR and use the X-Box Game Bar for my screen grabs, as it takes not just an HDR shot but a parallel PNG at the same time (which I then convert to JPG for posting here). It seems to have updated itself recently and since then the PNGs feel a lot more washed out than they used to be. So some of my shots now are nowhere near as lively as they appear on my HDR system. These two included!

Anyway, first one is approaching the Tor

And if you want to know the background of the Tor, just pop down, walk in, and there's a nice explanation on the wall in there

Which is perfectly legible if you've got a big enough screen.

Feel free to add you own example pics here.

I'd love for this thread to be filled up with spectacular MSFS2024 screenshots 😎 Even not-so-awesome screenshots would be useful for a great discussion on the strengths and limitations of the sim.

As long as it doesn't turn into a slugfest of course 🙂

...🙂...so, Piett, we fly whatever we like...even FS9/FSX included, but respect the choice of others...🙂...

[BTW, I always like to see the DLH A320 here. Though I've flown much in the Lufthansa heavies, I flew only once in their A320, from Frankfurt to Düsseldorf for a connection, distinctly remember it still...🙂...Thanks for posting.]

I wholeheartedly agree 😀 I've been flying Düsseldorf to Frankfurt in the sim for the last few days, testing various ATC addons. Approaching Frankfurt tends to get extremely busy - which is a lot of fun!

Barmouth, Wales. A beautiful place, both here and in real life (whatever that is)
