AI aircraft emit smoke on landing / take off

Featured Replies

I've been using PSXT for over a year and today landing and departing aircraft started emitting smoke. See below:

Really hits frame rates. Anything that can stop this?

AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo
64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance
32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card

That's not a PSXT issue. The "smoke" (maybe it is not smoke but "splashed water") caused by effects that come with the AI aircraft model (wet runway?).

I've not updated any models in over six months. Today is the first time it happened

It looks to me like the water spray effect from a wet runway. You could test this by changing the weather, or going to another airport.
