I used only Intel for many years until about five months ago. I switched from I9 14900 KS to an AMD 9800 X3D, and I have NO REGRETS. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
February 22, 20251 yr I've been on AMD processors for about 6 years now. No issues, and the ability to swap out CPU's when new versions release has saved me money on new motherboards. That's especially true since the AM5 CPUs are still newish.
February 23, 20251 yr Just upgraded from an older Intel to a newer AMD and I have no regrets either. I haven't done any scientific testing on the performance, but it certainly seems to be in line with the benchmarks we see in the reviews. Edited February 23, 20251 yr by prolixindec
