Additional voices in P2A version 3

Featured Replies

Hi all flightsimlovers ,

Have a problem with the additional controller voices , that (quickly) were installed in P2A version  3.

Anyway, only the SAPI desktop controller voices (Zira , David , Hazel ) are always there , but the other so called "online" voices

, I have about 15 of them  in the dropdown menu , refuse to work in too many flights .

What I hear then is the distortion sound . But , surprice , the Copilot can hear it though and responses ...

I am using P2A 3.0.0.0 v 30n and Windows 11 v24N2 (latest update)

I hear nothing from the RSSVoices on my end too. Still investigating...

Dolph,

I am using SAPI voices , that are normally used by , at least , P2A version 3 .

There were already 3  "Desktop" voices installed by default in the P2A program .

P2A v3 gives an easy access to more.

In the Settings of P2A v3 , via Voices it was possible to let popup the Natural Voice SAPI Adapter

Installer . And on this way to download voices that after the download were shown in the Voice Definition  box.

Unfortunality these so called online voices don't work , no sound , in mine computer configuration .

Today I have deleted the "online" voices and  found some new voices via Windows 11  , that did work .

In total I have now about 10 voices .

To me the issue is solved .

May be Dave can say something about the  RSSvoices .
