Looking for Retired Sim Pilots (MSFS2024)

Featured Replies

Hello Flight Sim Fans!

I must say it's a tad difficult to find and fly with with folks near your age via multiplayer in FS2024.

I am older, retired and was thinking I could post here and see if there was any interest

in flying hops, exploring, and learning in FS2024 using TeamSpeak 3.

I like TS3 because it's pretty simple to use and really has no other purpose but voice comms.

I am in southern new england and have lots of great spots to fly, but I will fly anywhere!

I go back to Bruce Artwick's Flight Sim 1.0 just to give some history of my flying experience.

So, if I have done this post correctly and in the proper spot I hope to find others like me that enjoy

flying together with others. My TeamSpeak 3 server runs 24/7 and the domain is (fs2024ri.hopto.org)

Just place in teamspeak where it asks for an IP, put in your call sign or name and connect.

So if I have done this wrong I apologize.

See you at the field!

You could join us for a flight, Wednesdays or Saturdays. We do currently use Discord for voice comms, but otherwise fit your profile.  Have a look, and feel free to contact me if any questions!   Also Sunday Teamspeak flights.. 😊

Hello,

No more need to find retired friends! MS2024 crosses age boundaries.

You can also find many virtual companies to meet new friends to fly with but....you will need to migrate to Discord. 😀

Absolutely agree.

I run the Massive Sim 32 Community, based in Australia.  We have close to 600 members from all over the world that are able to fly in our timeslots of 0930UTC.  We fly Helicopters on Monday, Bush Planes Tuesday, Warbirds Wednesday and currently up to Leg 7 of our West Coast, South American Tour in Twin Otters and 185 Amphibs.  Most Fridays we also hold pop up events.

We do run our comms on Discord.  It's an amazing platform for comms and community interaction, I highly recommend the OP looks into Discord as an option.  It's great.

As for the OP and anyone else on here who would like to join our community, you can do so by heading here -> https://discord.gg/Ne7U7EZV7E

Happy flying everyone!

Sounds Great!

Discord is a Deal Breaker, will not use it. Huge Security Risk! My Antivirus does not like it.

Anyone over 50 is fine.

My TeamSpeak Server is fs2024ri.hopto.org

Thanks guys, nice to take The Kiddie Factor Out of the Equation.

Got rid od the Xbox App and Gamebar, wow was that annoying!

MSFS2024 screwed the pooch on that mess...

Thanks,

Mark
