This person did a nice video showing differences in VRAM usage when going from SU1 to SU2 (SU2 beta of course):

Looks like the VRAM fixes they made going from SU1 to SU2 are noticeable, at least on this person's setup. Hopefully they patch some of the CTD issues in SU2 beta.

Whenever he showed SU2, he made it with clear sky as opposed to the cloudy conditions he had in SU1. You think this could have made the differences ?

Yes, comparisons need to be in identical situations.

Same weather, same time, same AI, it needs to be a replicable scenario to be accurately measured.
