April 11, 20251 yr Recently got a new trim set, but I’ve noticed with the black square stuff, the rudder trim works in the wrong direction. The animation on the plane’s exterior looks correct for the direction of trim, but the plane will fly like it’s being trimmed in the wrong direction. Is there a simple way to change the behavior in the plane itself? And it appears to be all of their aircraft. And before anyone suggests “reverse axis” I can’t with this unit, which is already frustrating lol. April 11, 20251 yr Hmm, when you say the animation works in the correct sense, do you mean that the tab moves left when inputting right rudder trim? That would be correct for the animation I ask as many misunderstand trim tabs and that misunderstanding in combination with a reversed control setup would explain it.
April 11, 20251 yr I just checked the Duke in 2024, the trim tab moves in the correct (opposite) direction, and it yaws in the correct direction as well. Edited April 11, 20251 yr by outermarker

Yes, the tab moves right when trimming “left.” But in practice, if I trim left the plane yaws to the right. April 11, 20251 yr Author Turns out it's a hardware issue and the manufacturer is fixing it. Virtual crisis averted....literally. Was trimming in what I thought was the right direction, and almost got into a VMC Roll lol. AMD 9950X3D | 64 GB RAM | RTX 5090 FMR: 747 FO, 757/767 CAPT, 737 Check Airman Current 777 CAPT
