Citation Sovereign+ Video Walkthrough
It's a nice add-on, there are a lot of things I like about it. But some of these textures would have raised some eyebrows even in FSX/P3D... not really what I expect from something being released in 2026.

Phenom 300 soon? (released 18 May 26)
They thought that was the case until shortly before release, but it isn't. In a future update they'll add an option to switch to kilograms.

Another upcoming Bizzjet: Citation Sourvereign
Well, soon-ish we’ll be getting the Contrail Falcon 50, and hopefully by the end of the year the JustFlight Learjet 45 Professional as well. So if you’re not a fan of the G3000/5000, there are still some great jets heading your way.

Panning Stutters Galore today
Yes, SU5 has been a significant performance downgrade for me...

Phenom 300 soon? (released 18 May 26)
Raul said there’ll be a preview livestream by Twotonemurphy 24h before release, and since that's now scheduled for tomorrow, the release is probably happening on Monday if nothing goes wrong.

Flysimware Lancair Legacy Dev Stream soon-ish
"It's basically done and we are releasing the beta in a few days." Nice! So maybe even before the Phenom. Very exciting time to be a GA enthusiast!

Phenom 300 soon? (released 18 May 26)
In the Murphy stream Raul said there will be 8 videos before release, that would point to a release on Tue 19.

FSW Lancair Legacy preview video
WOW, it looks seriously impressive so far! I guess in some ways it's unlucky that both FSW and A2A are doing a high fidelity Legacy, but since the RealAir Legacy in FSX and P3D was one of my all time favorite add-ons, I can't wait to check them both out in MSFS!

Fenix - where are the Neo`s ??
My wishful thinking is that they’ve decided behind the scenes not to separate the VNAV update from the NEOs and that both will be released soon™. On the other hand, the WT Praetor was originally planned for 2025 as well and is now scheduled for November this year, so…

MSFS Developer Stream starting soon
You think so? The announcement of the M600 for FSExpo made me feel like we probably won't see the Phenom for quite some time after that.

The Expert Series is going Study Level!
According to the roadmap shown at the beginning, the Praetor release is tentatively scheduled for November. Looks like it will be worth the wait!

A2A Roadmap
Path of least resistance choice of aircraft… I’m starting to lose hope we’ll ever see another warbird or COTS release from them.

Black Square Caravan Pro First Look
- Water Textures
Maybe a year or two ago there was a dev livestream where they talked about watermasks, or rather the lack of them. Jörg mentioned that they had assigned a team specifically to work on watermasks and estimated it would take about three years to cover the entire planet. I don’t think they ever provided an update on that, and since they no longer do those livestreams, there’s no way to ask them about it directly anymore.- October 2025 - The Last Asobo Dev Update?
Honestly, we were spoiled with those livestreams. They definitely weren’t perfect, and the language barrier often made it tricky to get points across, but some key bugs only got fixed because we had that direct line of communication. How many other games or sims have the head of the franchise, the studio CEO, and the exec producer doing a two hour Q&A every month or so? And doing it while the live chat is absolutely toxic. Whether the streams are completely done or just happening less often, I can’t really say I’m surprised.- Flysimware Lancair Legacy

- Fenix A320 Neo...?
Fenix stated in November that a VNAV and ECAM infrastructure update for the CEO would be released before the NEOs. It’s been relatively quiet since then and I wouldn’t be surprised if they just suddenly announce the NEO release out of the blue, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see the NEOs until Q3/Q4... We’ll see.- I can’t wait for the Black Square Caravan Professional
It’s really annoying how restrictive the 2024 career mode is when it comes to third-party add-ons, just to “protect” some silly leaderboard nobody cares about. This Caravan would be perfect for skydiving missions, cargo runs, sightseeing, etc., but it’s just not going to happen anytime soon.- Black Square Professional planes won't start. Ridiculous.
What's the engine condition % on the tablet?- Upgrade to Windows 11?
There is a chance you'll run into this problem once on Win 11: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/audio-stutters-in-menu-globe-and-on-ground-during-flight/718524- Airbus or Boeing ?
Regarding stick vs. yoke: From my personal experience, a stick is more versatile and works well across all types of aircraft in the sim, including planes and helicopters. Flying a Boeing with a stick is fine, but flying an Airbus (or a helicopter) with a yoke feels quite awkward.- Occasional Sound Stuttering since I've moved to MSFS2024
There is a long thread about it here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/audio-stutters-in-menu-globe-and-on-ground-during-flight/718524/1263 TL;DR: It's related to Windows 11 versions 24H2 and onwards. People have posted multiple "solutions" including sim settings, audio drivers etc. only to come back eventually reporting that the problem is back. The only way to get rid of the crackling completely is downgrading to Win 11 23H2 or earlier (though that might not be possible anymore) until either Microsoft or Asobo find a solution for this.- Your Latest / Fav 2024 Approach
