  1. Here, after talking about the challenges of actually simulating a wx radar, he's referencing the Asobo WX display and says: "Could we turn that on? Maybe we have😉You'll have to get the 777 and take a look"
  2. Apparently PMDG have changed their mind about the standard WX radar and will integrate it into the 777, hopefully Fenix will also reconsider their stance on this. Asobo have now repeatedly made it clear that they will not open up the weather API, so for the foreseeable future there will either be the standard radar or nothing at all.
  3. It's not that deep brother, no tin foil hat needed.🤞
  4. Yet another update that has little to do with anything judging by the "changelog". Just because they don't release incremental beta updates for the A320 doesn't mean that's not the reason for this delay.
  5. Yep, that's the problem. Even if you have the actual METAR, the live weather in the sim might not match at all.
  6. Yes, not exactly the most confidence-inspiring choice of words...
  7. It was also the shortest changelog in history, basically a one-liner about "memory optimization improvements" and some Reno Airrace stuff. There was no indication that SU15 would be delayed again until they reintroduced the Airbus a few days before the scheduled release.
  8. "Tentatively targeted" for April 30, you've gotta be kidding me...that's crazy. It was scheduled for March 12.
  9. I agree, there are so many updates and releases in the pipeline all waiting for SU15. It's getting really annoying.
  10. I agree with most of the criticisms here but "radio silent" is not a fair assessment at all. This is a status update from two days ago:
  11. RSR has already confirmed here that the MAX will release somewhere between the four 777 variants.
  12. Did you perhaps overlook the "beta" in the title? As far as I can tell, 1.36.2.0 is still the latest public version.
  13. No, I was being sarcastic😄In one of the previous MSFS developer livestreams, I think after the german Gamescom last year, Jörg talked about the extremely small but very vocal Reno expansion community.
  14. It has been like this since day one. An update is pending but, like everybody else, SWS are waiting for SU15 to be public before release.
  15. If you think that one of the most significant updates to this Simulator was delayed by month because of the Reno expansion that ~100 people bought in total, I really can't help you with your delusions.
  16. That's cute, are you one of those TikTok brained 12 year olds that loves to argue about props vs jets? Moooom, flying airliners in the sim is so booooring.
  17. I would have expected a more comprehensive changelog, considering that the final version should have been released almost two weeks ago. Surely some issues with the Reno extension can't be the reason why they delayed the final version for the second time in a row.
  18. 100% agree on this and even some streamers do. Jamie aka LondonController spoke to PMDG about this at FSWeekend and he said that the stream "hype" phase before the 777 release will be much shorter than it was for the 737.
  19. Asobo should probably be a little more cautious with public release dates in future. Contrary to their own statement, SU15 was not "originally" scheduled for March 26, but for March 12. Don't get me wrong, I think it's wise to postpone an SU/WU if there are issues that need to be fixed, but this isn't the first time an update has been postponed multiple times, so why announce a public release date so early before the public beta has even started?
  20. Sorting the prices on the Justflight website by high to low, it seems to be somewhere around $48, which is steeper than I expected, but fair compared to the A2A Comanche IMO. Not sure how they'll handle the bundle.
  21. It's a joke because we already have a lenghty thread about it here.
  22. I am a little bummed that they'll use the same beta implementation as in the TBM. If you're using a normal throttle axis you'll need a lot of input before the plane starts moving which feels diametrically opposed to how you'd expect a turboprop to handle on the ground. In my opinion the way FSReborn and SWS have implemented the beta range in the M500/PC12 is much better and I haven't seen anyone complain about it so I'm not sure I agree with the "novices" argument here, especially in a super high fidelity add-on like this. I really hope they'll rethink this or maybe just give us both options.
