GPU - "threaded optimization" ?

Featured Replies

What's the last best setting for this?

I' on an RTX 3060 Ti. Have been staying with "Off" but I really don't know if the new updates to Xp12.2 would benefit from setting it to "Auto" or "On" ?

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I thought that was an opengl-specific thing?

Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...

Hmmm, that's a good hint - will try to search for it.

There's essentially zero official nvidia documentation on this thing. I would be surprised if vulkan needed it though. The benefit/curse of vulkan is to let the devs do their own optimizations for that type of stuff.

Nevertheless, it would be interesting to hear if there's a benefit.

Ok, that's what has been putting me away from AMD since the nineties of last Century, regarding GPU.

OTOH I am more than happy with my CPU - Ryzen 5600x...
