April 30, 20251 yr For those unfamiliar, when using Navigraph navdata and FlyTamp's Las Vegas airport, the ILS for RWY 26L will bring you in way too low. The fix in MSFS 2020 was to edit the content.xml file so that the FlyTampa KLAS scenery has higher priority than the base Navigraph package. https://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36728&sid=03444c5ba15866f183baa8fb1640bb4c Is there any way to do this in MSFS 2024? From what I can tell, there is no way to set per package priority in the content.xml file for 2024.

Not positive but I seemed to remember the initial discussions on this topic dealt with renaming folders. Not sure if that’s applicable here or if it even works. MS Forum would be a good place to search. Good luck, -B
April 30, 20251 yr The core issue is they made 26L elevation higher than real life, which puts it out of alignment with the ILS info. I wonder why they don't just fix the height of the runway instead of making a custom ILS. Edited April 30, 20251 yr by Tuskin38
May 1, 20251 yr Because the MSFS 2024 geo data is wrong, FT would have to do custom terrain for the entire area (a huge undertaking well beyond its current price tag) … can’t just fix the height of a runway without fixing everything else around it.
