MSFS2024 VR do not run with AMD 5800X3D?

Featured Replies

I have constant and bad shutters with my Varjo Aero. Even with the lowest graphics settings.

Processor    AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor              3.40 GHz
Installed RAM    32,0 GB
Graphics Card    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (24 GB)

In SU3 beta the picture quality is perfect. The cockpit view has never been that sharp.

I know that my processor is a bottle neck, but does anybody have with a similar hardware decent user experience in MSFS2024?

At moment I have fatal problem in VR mode. The screen goes full black, and I can't use VR mode at all. I will wait till next SU3 beta update and if it does not help, I go back to SU2 and reinstall drivers.

Apparently su3 has introduced some vr bugs since su2.  If you have HDR on in windows, try it off as that has helped some folk

Now the MFS2024 runs smoother than ever with the latest SU3 beta!

I did update the NVidia driver to the latest version 476.26 and re-install Varjo Base.

I have 5800X3D, just like yours. It works perfect with my Pimax Crystal Light. My gpu is only an 4070 (not super, not ti). Which is 3 or 4 slots beneath your 4090.

I can't run DLSS Quality and Global Rendering Quality to Ultra, so I turn it down to DLSS Performance and GRQ to Medium. Foveated Rendering in MSFS: ON. Dynamic Settings: OFF. Reprojection Mode: Depth. There are virtually no stutters.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
