Thanks - again, that's the easy part. The problem comes in trying to go BACK to full screen afterwards by doing the same keystroke.Chris

I have the same problem with ALT Tabbing, sometimes can't get back to FSX full screen.I usually hit CTRL ALT DEL and right click on the fsx application tab, which offers either "switch to" or "bring to front" options, if I remember correctly the "bring to front" works.John

If you have 2 monitors with Dual View enabled in the Nvidia drivers, try disabling it and see if it solves your problem. I had the same problem as you and changing from Dual View to Single Monitor solved it. Cheers.
