I have just installed FSX in Vista for the first time. When I choose to turn progressive taxi on, nothing happens. Never had this problem with FSX in XP (my FSX includes SP1 and SP2)

That's one of the 'broken things' with DX10...It works just fine in normal, DX9c mode though.

"That means it's not an FSX issue all along, that would mean it was a driver issue this whole time."Microsoft stated this was a driver issue soon after DX10 Preview (SP2) was released (somewhere in Phil Taylor's blog or in a post in this forum). I doubt it has been fixed with the latest drivers. I have the 177.83 WHQL driver installed and I have dual 8800 GTX's and I still cannot see progressive taxiing with DX10 Preview enabled. I had the beta version installed too and still could not see progressive taxiing. Fortunately, FSX ATC does not reprimand you if you use the wrong ramps or go to the wrong gate. Jim
