July 11, 2025Jul 11 For a long time now I have focused more on the thing that bothered me the most when I was flying above the layer. I didn't have to make a big effort to notice them either, given the space this problem took up in my field of vision. And I think there is a big problem in the representation. Everything is definitely too blue and without contrast. And all this blue is done in my opinion to have a nice overall visual representation at sunrise and at nightfall but during the day it does not work at all Blue sky, pale blue clouds, blue ground.Blue horizon
July 12, 2025Jul 12 I also suffer from the bizarre palette that 2024 uses - often having to resort to a series of Reshade filters. Quite often the terrain gets a massive dose of magenta - and trying to balance that up throws all the other colours out. There's also the insane thing that colour/contrast change dramatically when zoomed in (in external views). Eye adaption should *not* be triggered in external cameras, IMHO.
July 12, 2025Jul 12 This is seen from the cockpit. Hopefully when REX Atmos comes out for 2024 we will be able to correct this. Myself I have modified Lots of Color settings on the display and inside NV CP. Myself I have modified Lots of Color settings on the display and inside NV CP. I've watched all the videos on that amazing YouTube channel that you've taken screenshots of. It's the pale blue clouds that create a very artificial atmosphere above FS2024's cloud layer that bother me the most. In your photos, you can clearly see the contrast between the ground, clouds, and sky. I'm afraid REX on FS24 will accentuate this effect even more. The solution is that Asobo creates white clouds and this will already greatly improve the result.

Under the cloud cover, I have the impression that it's less visible. But what's disturbing is how they can achieve this unbalanced color palette without noticing it.
