September 18, 200817 yr Simmers, with FS9 there were so many awesome airports for the west coast. Now the focus seems to have shifted to the east coast in FSX. KORD, the upcoming KJFK, KATL and others. What happened to the west coast. How are we supposed to fly intercontinental flights without any west coast destinations? Cloud9 was supposed to rework KLAX which is the one airport I want the most (or KSEA). I am scared to ask in the Cloud9 forums, seems if someone asks a question like that then they get ignored or chastised. Is cloud9 still developing products?Does anyone know any news about this developer or any other. I once though I read about somebody doing KLAX but it was so long ago I can't remember. Mike Keigley
September 18, 200817 yr Phil has a nice list of available airports on his blog: http://blogs.msdn.com/ptaylor/default.aspxUlf BCore2Duo X6800 3.3GHz4GB RAM Corsair XMS2-8500C5BFG 8800GTX, Creative SB X-FiFSX Acc/SP2, Vista 32
September 18, 200817 yr Thanks Ulf, I was ware of this list. I am not much a of a GA flyer so I prefer the big international airports like KLAX, KSAN, KSFO, KSEA, KPDX that have all at one point been done by developers. I guess the developers that are producing addons just figure that they will serve a bigger market. Mike Keigley
September 18, 200817 yr Author Moderator Mike your probably right. Although I am pretty satisfied with the default majors like LAX and SFO since they look descent and offer pretty good performance. I would love to see a great KONT for the west coast and REALLY want someone to do a KFLL for Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Something will probably be developed for your areas of choice in the next year or two.
