August 17, 2025Aug 17 Commercial Member Either you are not fully connected or not tuned to a valid frequency. In many cases, not being fully connected is evidenced by the COM titles missing the number. So, instead of COM1 and COM2 being at the top of the 2 COM Channels, you only see COM and COM. If that is the case, try connecting to a different aircraft. One of the stock aircraft for your SIM. A valid frequency is indicated when the name of the controller is visible below the frequency. P2A only supports 25kHz spaced frequencies because Navigraph has not updated our data to include the 8.33kHz spaced ones. So you must use the frequencies from the FREQs window rather than trying to just take them off of charts. If you want more targeted assistance, then send me a message on AVSIM or an email to [email protected] with a screenshot after you have connected and tried to interact with ATC along with the P2A log file after you have shut down P2A. P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_300\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name. Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab. Dave
August 17, 2025Aug 17 Have not used the refresh button. Just did a flight and no pushback and engine start listed. In fact, after getting clearance, I used to have ground frequency show up automatically and now it did not. Most but not all controller voices are not being heard. My copilot responds to commands I never heard. They do print out, however. I never got handed off to tower from approach and once I put ground frequency in there were NO ground requests listed. In other words, I could not ask for a taxi to the gate.
August 17, 2025Aug 17 Commercial Member If the ATC text is showing up in White and no voice is heard, then there is definitely a problem with the voices. When no copilot options show, then the active controller is either not valid or is ATIS or some other controller frequency that has no 2 way communications with ATC. If you send me the log file, I'll be glad to look at it and see what might be going on. Dave
