What you like and what you think is good should always be separate, to some extent. I would say all on his list were great, but I don't like some of them at all. But they still are great. I agree with Harold Bloom about Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian, and his esteem of Melville and Faulkner. But that's off the YT video topic of Reddit (forums and social media) determining what has worth.
