September 8, 2025Sep 8 Hello all, I wanted to advise everyone that I am thinking of pulling the plug on developing future airport scenery's. I am beginning to believe no one is using these airports which takes me months and months to develop. This is precious time away from my family. This decision is based on basically zero replies in the forums when these airports are released. No. I'm not looking for kudo's or anything else. Simply some kind of feedback or response saying they are ok, they suck, or there is is issues that need to be fixed. But nothing. Therefore I do not think anyone is using these airports. They've apparently moved on. So be it. Therefore, St. Petersburg-Clearwater International will likely be my last which is currently under development. All due respect, Michael Edited September 8, 2025Sep 8 by PebbleBeach
September 8, 2025Sep 8 Hey, couldnt help but notice. I develop scenery for fsx in 2025 not for anybody but myself. I developed scenery for Houston texas, austin texas because i genuinely enjoy old school flight sims and aircraft only offered by FSX-P3D. Why? Because i want to shoot accurate VFR approaches and be able to spot an airport from miles and miles away. I like that i have a computer that fits in my hand, doesn't require an internet connection, and i can be shooting accurate approaches within 2 minutes. I can now fly from Houston to Austin purely with landclass and scenery and no GPS or VOR. If you enjoy it, and it enhances your experience do not worry about anybody else. However, FSX scenery is compatible with P3D v4 and v5, so there will definitely be people who will appreciate it. -- Also, better double check, people have been giving you feedback.... https://www.flightsim.com/files/file/212581-ksrq-sarasota-2025-releasezip/?&tab=comments#comment-13288 Edited September 8, 2025Sep 8 by Sweetd31
September 14, 2025Sep 14 Michael, Thank you so much for keeping FS9 alive. Your sceneries are awesome!!! I understand time with your family being so important. Whatever you decide, your work is much appreciated. if looking for a new scenery project, the new terminal for KPIT would be a great one. I wish I had your talent. Jeff
