Hello. Is the addon compatible with the latest XP12 Beta? I read several posts that XP Visual causes CTD. Dev support is said to be very minimal

It’s a completely abandoned product. The author hasn’t posted anything since 2023 on the support forum of the org. Since may 2024 he announced on his homepage that a next release was iminent…nothing since then. And he hasn’t answered any of my e-mails.

I see it as complete scam.

I have stopped using it since over a year. I don’t even know if it’s partially compatible with XP 12.3.

To be honest, after recent visual updates in XP12, VisualXP is unnecessary, or maybe better to say non-essential. Which is great imo, as I don't need to wait 30 seconds anymore for the plugin to load itself + the preset. Also, since it's abandoned, no need to worry about compatibility. XP12 now by default looks just great.

Thank you for the responses. Actually I am a bit unfair to compare MSFS 2024 with XPlane 12. No matter how much I spend or tweak, the two sims are just different, with their pros and cons.
