How to apply the same custom views to all liveries?

Featured Replies

Hi ,

Sorry if this has been asked before but I could find nothing relating to my issue. I'd like to know how, once I have set up custom cockpit views on a specific livery, say Air France inibuilds a350, I can apply those same custom views to all inibuilds a350 liveries?

Copying the Camera cfg from one folder to the other does not work as the views were moved ( for instance the original captain view in the first livery, gets me outside the cockpit when loading livery 2). Can please someone help with this? Thank you very much.

Can't speak for INI but for the Fenix bus - there is a "common" folder in my community folder called fnx-aircraft-320/SimObjects/Airplanes/FNX_32X/common/config

This is where I drop my cameras.cfg and it works for all variants.  Maybe INI does it similarly?

Very good question!

Interesting that solution for the Fenix!

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question and for your suggestion. I'll try what you did for the Fenix to Inibuilds and see how it goes.

No problem - BTW - ChasePlane will be much easier to use for this once released for 2024 ( if ever <sigh> ).

I know Chaseplane would make this possible and easy to do and I've been using it both since P3D days and MSFS2020, unfortunately it does not appear that we will ever see it working in MSFS24. I've seen somewhere that due to some limitations imposed by Asobo, Chaseplane cannot take control of the camera system in MSFS24 therefore they stopped trying. I hope this is not true but I'm not keeping my hopes high.

Did you manage to get this working? Hitting a similar issue after downloading a flightsim.to package which has view for each variant.
