  1. Thank you Jay, it was indeed the "fsdreamteam-gsx-world-of-jetways-2020" that was causing the problem. I disabled it and voila, the elevation issue was corrected. So again thank you very much for your finding.
  2. Thank you Reader for your suggestion. I just tried that and indeed the elevation issue is gone. So I guess something (some scenery) is causing some kind of conflict.
  3. Dear fellow simmers, I'm hoping one of you could help with an elevation issue on Digital Design scenery of ULLI in MSFS 2024 which make taxiing from the runway or around the aiport impossible. I posted the issue on DD facebook page as it is only there that they're supposed to provide support but unfortunately to no avail as of now. Someone on the facebook page suggested disabling the streamed version of the airport but there is no ULLI default scenery in MSFS2024. So if someone has an idea on how to correct this I'd be grateful. Regards.
  4. Thank you for your suggestion. I did check the folder structure and the layout.json file was indeed updated by the conversion software. But I'll double check on this.
  5. Dear fellow simmers, I'm hoping for your help after Fenix support said they're unable to assist with my issue. The issue here is that I converted an MSFS 2020 Fenix A320 livery to MSFS 2024 using the tool LiveryConverter2024. The conversion went well and the livery shows up correctly in the sim when the aircraft is selected. However, the airplane using the converted livery loads up with a cold and dark display and the only display showing is the batteries that show 00.0v. Everything else is dark and non responsive though the APU could be clearly heard "ON" and from the exterior view, the nose wheel light is ON. I could not figure out what the issue is and how to correct it and it seems neither does Fenix Simulation support. Can please someone help with this? Thank you.
  6. I know Chaseplane would make this possible and easy to do and I've been using it both since P3D days and MSFS2020, unfortunately it does not appear that we will ever see it working in MSFS24. I've seen somewhere that due to some limitations imposed by Asobo, Chaseplane cannot take control of the camera system in MSFS24 therefore they stopped trying. I hope this is not true but I'm not keeping my hopes high.
  7. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question and for your suggestion. I'll try what you did for the Fenix to Inibuilds and see how it goes.
  8. Hi , Sorry if this has been asked before but I could find nothing relating to my issue. I'd like to know how, once I have set up custom cockpit views on a specific livery, say Air France inibuilds a350, I can apply those same custom views to all inibuilds a350 liveries? Copying the Camera cfg from one folder to the other does not work as the views were moved ( for instance the original captain view in the first livery, gets me outside the cockpit when loading livery 2). Can please someone help with this? Thank you very much.
  9. Thank you so much for this fix. It solved my Chaseplane issue and it's fully usable now.
  10. Hello everyone, Thanks Rogen for your explanation on how this works. I like your analogy of having the source display being projected on another screen with the frame generation. Anyway as per Ray's answer yesterday regarding NCP not working well with the app, I did install RTSS this morning and limited the FPS to 20 in it and I was able to make the app works by finally having 20/60 FPS. However I noticed some artifacts and sometimes stuttering while flying, nothing very bad but noticeable none the less. Some part of the flying were very smooth. Weighing on things regarding my system and how happy I am with my P3D internal FPS like in EGLL with almost everything maxed out and using high texture resolution with PMDG planes, I prefer keeping on using my present settings and not adding the losseless scaling app for now.
  11. Thanks Ray. I did limit FPS to 20 in Nvidia CP and it is set to unlimited in the sim. I'll try again tomorrow after installin RTSS and see if it changes anything.
  12. Thans Ray for your reply. My system is i7 13700k, 32 Gb RAM, GPU RTX3060 with 12Gb vram. Yes my monitor is set at 60Hz and indeed I did select X3 in the app. However I don't have RTSS, is it required? Fouad
  13. Hello everyone, After reading all the posts in this topic, I too jumped on the Frame Generation bandwagon and bought the lossless scaling app today. Apparently the app has been updated as my download is version 2.10.1. So following the here published installation and setup recommendations was not possible as apparently the new version introduced some changes. I however manged to set it up and got it to work but to no avail. Maybe I did not set up something right. When hitting the "scale" button, the FPS remain at 20/20 with the default F35 at the default airport . Following Ray's example I loaded my PMDG NGXu at Aerosoft Heathrow with 100% AIG trafic. FPS remained at 20. Deactivating the scaling my P3D V5.4 FPS is between 20 -23 when taxiing around EGLL and in VC view. FPS goes to 25 in external view and jump to 37 when in tower view. My flying is always smooth, no matter the plane (mostly PMDG 737/777/747),so I think I don't need this app though I'm sure it works as intended for others. Cheers All.
  14. Hi Michael, I have FB KSFO and never noticed any stutters landing on it. Just did a flight using PMDG 747 couple days ago and all went without any stutters. Kind regards Fouad Chakib
  15. Took the plunge and bought V6 when it came out and also bought Active sky V6 and Chaseplane. I even managed to install ORBX which improved over V6 default textures but since I mostly fly PMDG and those don't work properly in V6 I uninstalled it and kept using V5.4.
  16. Hi Mike, I'll add my voice to what has been said regarding the fact that you cannot get the real color from youtube videos as the lighting conditions, camera sensitivity and you own monitor rendition are all factors affecting what you're seeing. However and if you're using P3D and enabling HDR, there is a way of altering the panel color (darkening it to your liking). Just use the search function of the forum using the keyword HDR and you'll find an interesting thread about this. Hope this helps. Cheers
  17. Hi Everyone, Chris, I do have 2 of my Saitek Throttle quadrant set up as reverser 1 and 2. I've done this through registered FSUIPC. I have 2 Saitek throttle quadrant set up through FSUIPC which gives me 6 levers configured as follow: 1 lever for speed break 1 lever for Throttle 1 1 lever for reverser 1 1 lever for reverser 2 1 lever for throttle 2 1 lever for flaps This configuration works very well for all aircrafts including the NGX but the only drawback I have with the NGX is that after landing I have to move 2 or three times the 2 throttle levers to get them to the idle position before getting the reversers to work. I have this problem only with the NGX. With the feel there airbus for example I don't have this problem. Cheers, Nizar.
  18. Hi everyone,I do have that same issue and I'm using ASE Evolution. Also recently I'm begining to have total black screen whenever ASE is working with FSX.Has anybody else got this same issue?Fouad. C.
  19. Hi,I am having the exact same problem and I also use the saitek throttle quadrant.I don't think it's calibration issue either as this happens only with the NGX and works fine with other planes. If someone could provide a solution it would be great. Thanks.Best regards.Nizar
