November 11, 2025Nov 11 In the current FS2024 SU3, you can eliminate the bug splats on the windshield. Go to Settings/Graphics/Windshield Effects and set the choice to Medium rather than High. This does not affect the fuselage display. --Mike MacKuen

This does not affect the fuselage display. aahh that rings a bell, as a while back I was flying through a rain cloud but didn't see rain drops on the windscreen. So IIRC I turned that setting up a notch so that could explain why the ear and tear is "new" to me, I'll have a look later thanks 👍 Perhaps it's a bit different in 2024 though as I always had that setting turned up in 2020 to see rain drops, I just never saw this amount of wear and tear in that Sim.
