How can I delay contacting air traffic control for clearance?

 

I want to be able to connect the ground power unit and make the necessary adjustments before requesting clearance from ATC, and therefore not contact ATC as soon as the ground power unit is connected.

 

Is there a way to do that in the settings?

You don't have to call for clearance until you want to as it is. Where are you seeing a need to do as soon as the ground power unit is connected?

Each time I connect the GPU, the IA Copilot requests clearance.

I'd turn off the copilot then. I think one of the first things I did during initial setup was to turn all of those assistances off.

I have my AI on and I just spawn to my airport/gate and when ready open the EFB view than load my navigraph flight plan...Sometimes AI calls, other times I click open the radio and call when ready. Now, without navigraph, not sure.
