November 27, 2025Nov 27 The 737 Max is not authorized to land at Aspen (KASE). It is too large, too heavy and too fast. The Aspen airport has a very narrow runway. The FPA on final for Rwy 15 is 6.59 degrees or 1,872 fpm at 160 knots. Since this sounded very challenging, I gave it a try. The terrain is beautiful.
