November 28, 2025Nov 28 Today, I picked up a couple of airports, on SALE, from the Marketplace: One in Brazil and the other in Switzerland. Here is the post (and flight) for the airport in Brazil (prepare for a long name...🙂..., as is typical in South America), Vitória–Eurico de Aguiar Salles International Airport (SBVT), serving the city of Vitória, Brazil. Vitória, a beautiful coastal city, surrounded by sea on all sides, is actually situated on an island adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean and Vitória's Bay. The many (low) mountains of the mainland are just a short distance away (see images below). Moreover, the city is located at the mouth of several rivers that flow into the Vitória's Bay (in fact, I could quickly spot these rivers, right after lift-off; see e.g., my shot #s 8-10). I've lifted off from Runway 24 of SBVT, westward, flying for about 100 miles, over the mountain ranges of the inland side (see my route on the EFB Map). I've then reverted to Vitória, eventually landing back on the same Runway 24 of SBVT, from which I'd departed. I am flying, here, only for the 2nd time, the (Carenado) B390 (precise name: Beechcraft B390 Premier 1A), which is a light business jet aircraft manufactured by the Beechcraft division of Hawker Beechcraft. In 1994, Beechcraft acquired the Hawker jet line and merged with it to form Hawker Beechcraft. However, today, both names are part of Textron Aviation, which acquired Beechcraft in 2014. It was a fun and enjoyable flight today, in Brazil, overflying scenic mountains, rivers, and seas, that is so typical of South America. The (modern) Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite of this B390, similar in capability to the (familiar) Garmin G1000, but presenting a (welcome) different look... 🙂..., served me well... Hope you, too, enjoy this collection of pictures of this lovable mini jet, from my short but (delightful) round-trip flight today. Thanks for viewing...!
November 28, 2025Nov 28 Interesting location choice (I will have to go there myself shortly to check it out) and a lovely livery too. Picture #9 puts both the plane and the city in a great light.

Picture #9 puts both the plane and the city in a great light. Thanks, John. Yes, I especially love the geographical locations where the sea, rivers, and mountains mingle ...🙂...this is one beautiful example... As you might guess...the airline liveries and logos are always more meaningful to me...🙂...but you're right, this red is a nice one that appealed to me today...shining wonderfully in the twilight glow here... (And Happy Black Friday...🙂...With on-line shopping these days, that, once-upon-a-time, mad rush in front of the department store entrances...is (thankfully) a thing of the distant past now...🙂...) Cheers...! Edited November 28, 2025Nov 28 by P_7878

After the last South America World Update, the Brazil region seems to have been enhanced, but still it falls short of the levels of EU and NAR, due to the more frequent updates, we have received there. With mountains on both the oceanic coastlines of South America, indeed, it has some of the most beautiful sites to visit…🙂… Cheers…!
