November 28, 2025Nov 28 Hello everybody I'm suffering from a reproducable CTD that's always occuring south of EDDV airport. It happens at all times of the day, with every aircraft and even with AI traffic and AI ships set to 0. Event viewer says KERNELBASE.dll is the culprit. What could cause that? Kind regards Michael
November 29, 2025Nov 29 This is just a guess, but it could be a missing or corrupt scenery file that causes the CTD when P3D attempts to load it. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
November 30, 2025Nov 30 Author Yeah, I thought that too. But funnily, if I setup a flight at EDDV, I don't have a CTD. I can even slew to the point where I get the CTD in my saved scenario and there is no CTD...
December 1, 2025Dec 1 I got a ctd at dusk/dawn when I was flying over EDDV. It was caused by the german military airbase scenery that I downloaded from simouthouse. If you have that package maybe try to remove it? You could also try to lower your special effects to low and checked if that solves the problems? i9 14900K / Corsair Nautilus RS ARGB liquid CPU Cooler / MSI Z790 Tomahawk WiFi / 64GB Trident DDR5 RAM @ 7200 mhz / 24GB Gainward 3090 Geforce RTX / 2 TB SSD WD Black SN850X NVMe / 1 TB SSD Samsung 990 Pro series / 2 TB SSD Samsung 980 Pro Series / 500 gb and 250 gb SSD Samsung Evo 850 / RM1000W Corsair PSU - P3Dv5.4, X-Plane 12, X-Plane 11 and FSX
