after last msfs2024 update. My alpha yoke settings no longer work correctly. I changed nothing. still usuing control setting i setup 9 months ago and never had control setting problems  until after last update. anyone else , and dont really want to redo,as it took hours to do 9 months ago. Any help appreicated.

I'm using the Alpha yoke and latest BETA 2024. No problems with the yoke. I think you have a conflict. The things assigned to your yoke are assigned to other controllers somehow. 

Redo the calibration in Windows Control Panel. 

The way I would proceed if I had your problem is to join the Beta using Windows Insider Hub. Or if you are in the Beta, leave the beta and go back to SU3. And then change back once again to the version you started with. I did this 3 or 4 days ago when I had a different problem, it cured it right up. Took half and hour for the whole process. When you either leave or join the beta, a new flightsimulator2024.exe file will download and replace the old ones. 

The controller settings screen has a place to save a profile (to anywhere you want it stored. When you save a profile, be sure to name the profile a word that tells you what that profile version is. Windows will put a date on it, but the name you give it is an important reminder to you also.
