Error Code 2047 when launching MSFS2024 with SU4

Featured Replies

Hello Gang!

I started to receive an error code 2047 once my sim updated to SU4.  Anyone has any idea what this error might be and how to solve?

Thanks!

Yep I have the same thing, I’m guessing that a reinstall may be the only fix?

tried logging in and out of Xbox services, using the windows store version.

It looks like it’s not a widely spread issue as only a few posts mention it.

Did you manage to resolve?

Yes, I've got the same problem. Zendesk are "looking into it"........

In the end I lost patience, did a reset of cloud storage…that didn’t work. So did a full sim reinstall.

That seemed to fix it as well as another issue I had since moving over to my new pc 4 months ago with some graphic settings having to be reset every time I started the sim.

only the frame generation seems to reset back to 2x from 4x now, but that’s ok I guess.

Now I just have the small task of reconfiguration of all my controls…😳

I ended up doing a full reinstall.  Tooke me 2 days to get everything back.  The issue was solved by the re-install which is what MS recommended.

Yeah seems to have worked for me, still need to sort all my controls out, got the Fenix profile done though, still a few tweaks to do on it. Did half a lap around Heathrow, seems pretty good, still got a bit of that annoying sound popping, but seems smooth, night looking better as well.

The only setting that doesn’t seem to save is the x2 frame gen. I set it to 4x and it drops back to 2x on each new start. But other than that it would seem that it’s all good!

At the official MS Flight Sim web site put 2047 into the search box

127 entries since September 9.  Many users - many different solutions.  Some work for some - some for others.  It took me five tries over three weeks to solve the 1047/2047 issue.

Yup I went through them all, in the end went with a fresh install. Which, for the time being, solved it for me.

Although tonight’s test flight defaulted to traffic back on again, so maybe I haven’t quite solved that little issue!

What did you do to get it working again?

I can't remember in detail what I did.  I tried several of the ZenDesk suggestions and they fixed the problem for a day or so then it would reappear, eventually changing from 1047 to 2047.

I know I tried a complete  Steam deletion of FS2024 and reinstall.  That fixed the problem for a week or so but the next Beta update brought the problem back.

Eventually I deleted anything to do with Clouds, Saves, Caches, Indexes in various orders.  That helped for a while but then problem reappeared.

I reverted back to plain vanilla SU3 after deleting everything.  I think that solved the problem am not sure.  All I really know is the 2047 error occured after reinstalling SU3.  I got word not allowed off and quit the sim, turned off the PC and went off to saulk.

When I next started FS 2024 SU3 - no error messages and none since, about three weeks I think.
